Information Technology includes systems software, application software, computer hardware, networks and databases. The chief information officer leads the department that manages most aspects of an organization's IT. However, when it comes to implementing quality standards in the IT sector, most of the CIOs face so many pressures to deliver systems and technologies for meeting the organization's ever-changing needs. The industry as a whole has fallen short of delivering technology that people can understand and use. Many of the problems occur because of the complexity of technology and the rapid pace of change. Neither of these conditions are likely to abate; in fact, they're accelerating at an alarming rate. If flawless execution was an elusive goal in the past, it is even more today.Relevant IT/ITeS Industry StandardsISO 9001-Quality Management System, ISO 14001-Environmental Management System, ISO 27001-Information Security Management Systems, ISO 20000-IT service management, ISO 22301-Business Continuity Management, CMMI-Capability Maturity Model Integration, Lean Six SigmaKaizen Professional Trainings for individuals:Internal Auditor-1) ISO 9001-Quality Management System-QMS, 2) ISO 14001-Environmental Management System-EMS, 3) OHSAS 18001-Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series, 4) IS0 27001-Information Security Management System-ISMS, 5) ISO 20000-IT Service Management System-ITSM , 6) SSYB-Six Sigma-Yellow Belt, 7) SSGB-Green Belt and 8) SSBB-Black Belt.Organizational Trainings:Lead Auditor-1) ISO 9001-Quality Management System-QMS, 2) ISO 14001-Environmental Management System-EMS, 3) ISO 27001-Information Security Management System-ISMS, 4) ISO 20000-IT Service Management System-ITSM To implement ISO 20000-1:2011-IT Service Management System TODAY, Call "SMARTEDGE" on +91 984 982 1597 or +91 807 944 3713, For more info, visit link http://smartedgeconsulting.com/iso-20000.html

The transition deadlines for ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 are on the horizon. With in 9 months (by Sept 2018) the existing certificates will no longer be valid. The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) had announced that on or before 15th March 2018, the certification bodies must conduct all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits to the 2015 versions in order to help the certified organizations to manage non-conformities before the Sept 2018 deadline. Many organizations had begun or even completed their recertification; but those who have not yet started their transition run the risk of losing their present certification. ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 will both cease by the mid Sept. 2018. Although there is no set time for transition, as the degree of needed change will depend upon how an organization had developed and uses its existing management system. It is important to give enough time to implement the new standards in the place of your existing management system. One of the most common traps observed are, companies are thinking that they have a long time thus leaving it to the last minute. Making changes in ISO 9001 2015 and ISO 14001:2015 will take a few weeks to set with organizational priorities. Also need to plan for an audit with the certification body, which can take time. So ensure to execute the process as early as possible. What is transition and how it affects your business?ISO 9001:2015 is the revised Quality Management System standard published in 2015 to replace ISO 9001:2008. All businesses seeking ISO 9001:2015 certification need to be audited in line with the new standard, failing which the organizations will have to apply afresh and wait indefinitely besides additional financial burden. Variance between older and new standards in nutshell• Approach to risk and awareness of the context which your business operates.• Meeting the stakeholders’ expectations.• Using the Process Approach.• Control of Outsourcing.Benefits with the new version• It puts greater emphasis on leadership engagement thus increasing satisfaction of customers and suppliers. These are the requirements of people to do business with you• It helps in addressing organisational risks and opportunities in a more structured manner (risk based thinking).• It uses simple language, terms and a common structure which are helpful to organisations using multiple management systems like environmental, health & safety, business continuity etc., • Also it addresses supply chain management more effectively.• Its terminology is more user-friendly for service and knowledge-based organisations.Smartedge team can help you in this regard to make the transition smoothly, along with Gap analysis, updating the documented information, inhouse trainings, practical implementation support, Internal audit, Supporting for preparing to Management Review and getting certified of the new standard finally. ISO / TS 16949:2009 – Automobile Industry Quality Management System Standard Automotive industry is one of the most challenging industries in the world and, it operates under extreme pressures of cost and time. Rely on suppliers is the key aspect for the manufacturers and these suppliers must have control on their processes, understanding their customers' specific requirements to focus on continuous improvement. Appropriate certification of its management system offers a decisive advantage in demonstrating that the company meets this criteria. What is ISO/TS 16949?The ISO/TS 16949 standard is a worldwide automotive standard developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) – a group of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers (General Motors, Ford, BMW, PSA Citroen, Volkswagen, Renault and Fiat) and their respective trade associations. The standard brings together the various aspects of ISO 9001:2008, AVSQ (Italian), EAQF (French), VDA6 (German) and QS-9000 (U.S.) into one standard. ISO/TS 16949:2009 can be applied to company sites worldwide, wherever automobiles or its parts and components are manufactured. What are the key benefits?1. Time and cost savings by avoiding multiple customer specific certification audits, 4. The international recognition of the ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard increases the credibility of organisation when bidding for global sourcing contracts or expanding business locally. To create a common quality system approach to the entire supply chain (for suppliers/subcontractors) and facilitates access to the industry's best practices, ISO/TS 16949 -Automotive quality management system standard is revised nowThe International Automotive Task Force (IATF) published IATF 16949, the standard for automotive quality management systems. This standard, summarize the key changes from its predecessor, ISO/TS 16949, and offer guidance on achieving certification to the requirements of the standard. What is IATF 16949?IATF 16949 is a technical specification developed by the IATF that defines quality management system requirements applicable in the automotive supply chain. Further, IATF 16949 details a registration scheme for third-party suppliers to independently validate compliance with the requirements of the standard. IATF 16949 replaces ISO/TS 16949, which was jointly developed by the IATF and the ISO in 1999.
